Why these drawings of Breton women?

When I was very young, I spent my holidays in Brittany, where I had the chance to still see the real bigoudenes. I also lived for a few years near Le Conquet where the fest-nozs revived my childhood memories. The contrast of the white headdresses on the black dresses particularly marked my mind, and that is why I draw these little Breton girls in Indian ink. Seduced by the graphics of traditional Breton costumes, I made a whole series of drawings and paintings on the bigoudenes. My characters are deliberately stylized and inspired by old or recent photos.

What are you buying?
These items are reproductions of my drawings, printed and glued onto a wooden block by me. These small blocks are easy to place on a piece of furniture or hang on the wall thanks to an integrated attachment.
